CK S-I-C — NIFTY DETAILED RULES
- Structure: BUY CE + BUY PE + SELL CE + SELL PE. NIFTY uses 65 units per lot in this implementation.
- Normal automatic selection: ATM/OTM contracts only; every premium ₹1–₹35 inclusive and every absolute entry delta ≤0.517. Select the lowest eligible BUY premiums.
- SELL location: ATM ≤ SELL CE < BUY CE; BUY PE < SELL PE ≤ ATM. SELL CE/PE premium difference must be ₹1–₹10 inclusive; maximize combined SELL premium, then prefer the smaller difference.
- Normal SL: entry below ₹15 uses 10 option points; entry ≥₹15 uses 50% of entry. BUY stop is max(0, entry − distance); SELL stop is entry + distance.
- Any-leg SL: an SL hit on any leg closes ALL open legs, including BUY hedges. Before cutoff, retry a fresh four-leg trade using the applicable normal/safe selection rules. Never bypass eligibility merely to re-enter.
- Delta exit: for a complete four-leg strategy, any monitored |delta| >0.517 closes all legs and queues a fresh eligible trade before cutoff.
- 1% achievement: at P&L / estimated margin ×100 ≥1%, close all legs and display a closable profit alert for up to one minute. Live currently uses the open cycle's P&L for this test. Safe mode is then permanent for later trades in that session.
- Permanent safe mode: EVERY later BUY and SELL entry must be ₹2–₹10 inclusive. Reject below ₹2 and above ₹10. Use a fixed 20-option-point SL; BUY stop is floored at zero. Maintain ATM/OTM, |delta| ≤0.517 and SELL difference ₹1–₹10.
- Persistence: SL, delta exits, manual Exit All and a Live server restart do not disable safe mode. Backtester Clear resets its session and safe mode; Live history/safe mode is retained.
- Margin: Live currently estimates Spot × Quantity × rate: 9.8% within 1%, 9.2% within 2%, 8.7% within 3%, otherwise 8.2%, using the nearest short-strike distance. It is not a guaranteed broker margin requirement.
- Cutoff: Live rejects new automatic S-I-C execution at or after 15:10 IST. Backtester uses its selected Close Time. No valid contract set means wait, not an out-of-range trade.
- VPS operation: Live paper monitoring and automatic re-entry run on the server while browsers are closed. Paper exits remain separate from confirmed Dhan broker fills.
CK S-I-C — SENSEX RULES
- Dhan SENSEX chain and its returned active expiry are used; this implementation uses 20 units per lot.
- The four-leg selection, all-leg SL/delta exit, permanent ₹2–₹10 safe mode and 20-point safe SL rules above also apply to SENSEX. There is no separate ₹1–₹1.50 hedge rule in the current engine.
- No new Live automatic entry at or after 15:10 IST. Eligible four-leg re-entry retries before cutoff.
- SENSEX recordings use separate YYYY-MM-DD-sensex keys and are selected through the instrument control.
1. Signal levels
- A1/A2 are resistance signals and check CE-side data at their configured level strike.
- B1/B2 are support signals and check PE-side data at their configured level strike.
- For A1 and B1, same COI, opposite COI, COI percentage, Volume percentage, and every 20K/40K decision are calculated from the same configured A1/B1 strike row.
- For A2 and B2, the same calculations use their configured A2/B2 strike row.
- If a configured strike is unavailable, the nearest available option-chain strike is used.
- Spot must enter the configured Level range ± before evaluation.
- Only one paper trade may remain active; another signal waits until exit.
- Repeat entries: while flat, a used level rearms only after spot moves more than max(Level range + 1, 2 × Level range) away. Do not enter on that rearming update; wait for a fresh qualifying touch.
- Touch detection: Backtester includes the recorded tick high/low; Live uses the previous/current spot interval.
- Rejected setups: Backtester may reevaluate on a new chain snapshot. Live records the rejection and waits for a move-away/rearm before another touch.
2. Option contract
- A1/A2 opens SHORT using a PE contract selected by delta.
- B1/B2 opens LONG using a CE contract selected by delta.
- Eligible absolute delta range is controlled by Delta minimum and Delta maximum in Level & Risk. The default inclusive range is 0.60 to 0.71.
- If several strikes qualify, the highest absolute delta is selected; with the default settings, 0.71 is preferred over 0.65.
- The exact strike belonging to that selected delta is traded—never shift the strike by +1 ITM or −1 OTM.
- Negative PE delta is compared by absolute value, so −0.65 is treated as 0.65.
- If no contract is inside the selected range, the result is NO TRADE. There is no ATM±1 fallback.
- Dhan supplies the option chain, delta, LTP, instrument security ID, order execution and position status.
- One lot uses Dhan's authoritative instrument-master lot size.
3. Percentage calculation
- Trade COI % = positive checked-strike same-side COI ÷ maximum positive same-side COI in the selected ±strike window around the checked strike × 100. Zero or negative checked-strike COI is not eligible.
- OI % = strike OI ÷ maximum same-side OI in displayed strikes × 100.
- Trade Volume % = absolute checked-strike volume ÷ maximum absolute same-side volume in that same checked-strike window × 100.
- 99.95% or above is treated as 100% for classification.
- Trading maxima use the checked level strike as their centre (A1/A2/B1/B2); displayed ATM-window percentages may differ. 100% is a relative maximum, not a guaranteed probability.
4. Probability model
- COI range percentage: checked-strike same-side COI ÷ maximum same-side COI inside the selected A1/B1 option-chain range × 100. Opposite COI is not used in this percentage.
- RISKY — 1 lot, POP 50%: COI is 100% but volume is below 99.95%, after all NO TRADE checks pass.
- LPT — 5 lots, POP 70%: COI and volume are 100%, without the 20K same-side advantage required for HPT. Opposite COI may be slightly stronger provided its advantage is strictly below 20K and the A2/B2 40K filter passes.
- HPT — 10 lots, POP 90%: COI and volume are 100%, and same-side COI leads by at least 20K in the selected logic unit.
- Display in lots is permanently enabled: CHG OI, OI and volume are divided by the configured lot size, and all 20K/40K rules use lots in Live, Backtester and VPS processing.
5. No-trade rules
- Same-side COI below 99.95%: NO TRADE.
- At entry, opposite COI advantage ≥20K: NO TRADE.
- At entry for second levels A2/B2, opposite-side COI ≥40K: NO TRADE.
- After a trade opens, a later 20K opposite advantage does not close the position.
- A NO TRADE setup blocks normal entry. Exception: enabled Strategy 5 may open its separately validated reverse trade at A1/B1 when original opposite COI is strictly above 2,00,000.
6. Risk and exits
- Option SL = max(0.05, entry LTP − configured SL points).
- Option target = entry LTP + configured target points.
- Trade quantity = setup lots × contract units per lot.
- P&L points = current/exit LTP − entry LTP.
- Cash P&L = P&L points × setup lots × units per lot.
- The selected logic unit and lot size are frozen when a trade opens, so changing the checkbox cannot alter that open trade's calculation or exit threshold.
- During every open trade, a 20K opposite COI advantage alone does not close the position.
- All-trade active COI check: on every update, for HPT, LPT, RISKY, Strategy 1 and Strategy 2 trades, calculate current opposite advantage = max(0, current opposite-side COI − current same-side COI) at the configured strike.
- If the current opposite advantage is below 40,000, continue to SL or target. Close immediately when it reaches exactly 40,000 or becomes greater.
- The check always compares the two current COI values; it never subtracts entry-time COI. Strategy 1 replacements use the ATM selected when the replacement opens.
- When Display in lots is checked, the comparison uses displayed lot-converted COI. When unchecked, it uses actual exchange quantity.
- The 40K current-advantage check applies at A1, A2, B1 and B2 and to every setup type.
- A second trade cannot be booked until the first trade has a confirmed closing time and its close cycle is complete.
- Same-update exit priority: 3:14 PM time exit → enabled Strategy 6 protected exit → eligible Strategy 1 → option SL → option target → eligible Strategy 2 → ordinary opposite-COI exit. A qualifying exit takes precedence over a Strategy 4 upgrade.
- Exit pricing: Backtester books ordinary SL/target at the configured stop/target price; Live paper uses observed option LTP. Actual Dhan fills can differ from both.
7. NIFTY 150/32 impulse
- Strategy entry occurs when spot falls 150 points from a tracked top to bottom without a 32-point rebound.
- While flat, a qualifying 150-point drop attempts LONG CE entry only if an eligible contract is available and it is before 15:14 IST. Both Live and main Backtester replay use the shared 150/32 detector.
- 150 LONG uses 1 lot, the highest eligible absolute delta inside the selected range (default 0.60–0.71), a 10-option-point SL and a 30-option-point target.
- A 32-point rebound before completing the fall resets the downward sequence.
- Live trading evaluates the server spot samples; Backtester trading evaluates recorded replay samples. Chart markers and five-minute historical estimates are not guaranteed to match every executable signal.
- `150 HIST DOWN LONG` markers are close-to-close estimates reconstructed from five-minute candles; they cannot detect intrabar retracements.
- Upward 150-point observations may remain visible on the chart but do not create a trade in this strategy.
8. ATM, ITM and OTM
- ATM is the displayed strike nearest to the current NIFTY spot.
- CE strikes below ATM are ITM; CE strikes above ATM are OTM.
- PE strikes above ATM are ITM; PE strikes below ATM are OTM.
- Badges update automatically whenever spot moves to a new ATM strike.
- Brown delta highlight: absolute delta 0.65–0.71 inclusive uses a medium-light brown background for CE and PE in Live and Backtester. Contract eligibility uses the selected Delta minimum and Delta maximum; defaults are 0.60–0.71.
9. Chart position overlay
- The white center line marks the spot at trade entry.
- For LONG positions, the green target zone is above entry and the red stop zone is below entry.
- For SHORT positions, the green target zone is below entry and the red stop zone is above entry.
- The displayed SL and target labels are option-premium points projected around the spot entry for visual reference.
- An open overlay extends to the current replay time; a closed overlay ends at the recorded exit time.
10. NIFTY SL/Target Backtester tab
- This additional tab keeps the same signal, selected option contract, lots and entry premium.
- SL and target points are applied to NIFTY spot instead of option premium.
- LONG: NIFTY SL is below spot entry and target is above it. SHORT: NIFTY SL is above spot entry and target is below it.
- When NIFTY reaches SL or target, the option LTP recorded at that time becomes the exit premium.
- Option cash P&L = (option exit LTP − option entry LTP) × quantity.
- If no exact or historical option LTP is available at the NIFTY exit time, P&L is shown as LTP N/A rather than zero.
- Only one NIFTY-based position is counted at a time.
STRATEGY 1 — A1/B1 ACTIVE TRADES ONLY
- Activation: Strategy 1 must be checked and an original A1/B1 trade must already be open.
- Continuous calculation: at the configured strike, current opposite advantage = max(0, current opposite-side COI − current same-side COI).
- Only trigger: if the current opposite advantage is below 40,000, continue the original trade until SL or target. If the advantage reaches exactly 40,000 or becomes greater, close the original trade and open the reverse-direction LPT immediately.
- Same-update priority: if Strategy 1's 40K condition and the option SL/target occur on the same processed update, Strategy 1 executes first and opens the reverse LPT.
- No entry subtraction: Strategy 1 compares the two current COI values at each update; it does not compare current COI with entry-time COI.
- A1: same side CE, opposite side PE. B1: same side PE, opposite side CE.
- No NO TRADE conversion: Strategy 1 never opens from a NO TRADE decision.
- Risk: 10 lots, 7 option points SL and 10 option points target.
- A2/B2 never activate Strategy 1, and a Strategy 1 replacement cannot recursively activate another replacement.
- Replacement COI strike: recalculate the nearest current ATM at the moment the reverse trade opens, then keep that checked strike for monitoring the replacement. Do not retain the original trade’s check strike or move it on every tick.
- Strategy 1 entries are purple on Live and Backtester charts.
STRATEGY 2 — A1/B1 COI REVERSAL
- Activation: Strategy 2 must be checked.
- Trigger: during an original A1/B1 trade, continuously calculate same-side COI percentage at that configured level strike. If it falls below 99.95% (changes from 100%), close the original trade immediately.
- A1 direction: open LONG immediately after closing the original A1 trade.
- B1 direction: open SHORT immediately after closing the original B1 trade.
- Risk: 5 lots, 5 option points SL and 5 option points target.
- A2/B2 never activate Strategy 2. Strategy 1 or Strategy 2 replacement trades cannot recursively activate Strategy 2.
STRATEGY 3 — HPT STOP-LOSS REVERSAL
- Activation: Strategy 3 must be checked and an original HPT trade must be open.
- Trigger: when that HPT trade closes specifically at its option stop-loss, prepare a Strategy 3 trade in the reverse direction.
- Direction: stopped HPT LONG → Strategy 3 SHORT; stopped HPT SHORT → Strategy 3 LONG.
- Mandatory entry safety check: before entry, calculate reverse-trade current opposite advantage = max(0, current opposite-side COI − current same-side COI).
- If the advantage is below 40,000, open Strategy 3. If it is exactly 40,000 or greater, do not open it and record STRATEGY 3 BLOCKED with the full calculation.
- Risk: 5 lots, 5 option points SL and 5 option points target.
- Other exits and replacement trades do not activate Strategy 3. It cannot recursively replace itself.
MANDATORY 3:14 PM TIME EXIT
- If any paper trade remains OPEN through 3:13 PM IST, the VPS closes it at 3:14 PM using the latest available option LTP.
- New website entries use Dhan MARKET/INTRADAY orders. Auto Dhan follows every paper exit, including STOP/TARGET. Strategies 1–6 replacement entries wait for verified closure of the previous linked Dhan order; pending or failed exits block replacements.
- Auto Dhan and Manual One-Click Orders: after Dhan confirms the fill, the VPS calculates SL = actual fill − selected SL points and target = actual fill + selected target points. Dhan option quotes drive the checks; when LTP reaches either threshold, the VPS submits an opposite MARKET order for the exact tracked quantity.
- Dhan positions and orders are cached centrally by the VPS, not requested separately by each browser.
- The Managed Trades table shows fill, current LTP, SL, target, live P&L, trigger and protection state. EXIT uses the same exact-quantity path.
- Important: normal-order SL/target protection is application-managed. If the VPS or Dhan session is unavailable, automatic exit cannot run; REVIEW REQUIRED, DEGRADED or LOGIN LOST must be checked immediately.
- This rule runs on the VPS even when every browser, laptop and mobile page is closed.
- No new VPS paper or real trade is opened at or after 3:14 PM IST.
- The Backtester applies the same 3:14 PM cutoff and exit to recorded trades.
POP values are configured strategy labels, not statistically verified or guaranteed probabilities. Live trading carries financial risk; confirm orders and exits in the Dhan order book.
